Common questions
Does Kendrix POS work in Tanzanian shillings and with VAT?
Yes. Kendrix POS is built in Iringa, Tanzania. Prices and reports are in TSh, and VAT is set to 18% for Tanzanian businesses by default. You can change the currency and tax rate at any time in Settings.
Can I use it on a phone?
Yes. Kendrix POS runs in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Drivers can see their trips on their own smartphones, with no app to download. It needs an internet connection to record sales and keep your books in sync.
How much does it cost?
You can try everything free for 14 days, with no card needed. The bakery tools, including inventory and recipes, come with the Pro plan at TSh 59,000 per month, or TSh 47,200 per month when paid yearly. Compare plans.
Can my staff have their own logins?
Yes. Each cashier, baker, storekeeper or driver can have their own login, and the owner decides which parts of the system each person can see. Staff sign in with a username or their email address.
